This vintage Boujad rug has a beautiful faded red ground, covered with large cream motifs and smaller details in blue, green and orange. Over the years, most of the wool pile has worn down to a short, almost felted surface, giving the rug a pleasantly thin and soft feel.

What makes it particularly beautiful is the way it has aged: some of the blue and orange details remain in a longer pile, standing out from the flatter surface and creating a subtle three-dimensional effect. The faded colours, changing textures and freely drawn geometric motifs give this old piece its wonderfully distinctive character.

** All our rugs are unique and personally selected. They reflect the imprint of the Amazigh weaving tradition, the individual creativity of their weavers, and the subtle imperfections of hand weaving. We believe these qualities are what give them their character and charm. The sizes mentioned above do not include fringes.
