This black and white Siroua rug is even more breathtaking in person than these images can capture. Handwoven in a secluded village within the Anti-Atlas mountains by a talented weaver called Aicha. Aicha wove this piece for her family’s own use and originally didn’t plan to sell it.

Currently, the talented local weavers of her village work independently, and we compensate them directly for their exceptional pieces. However, with the growing demand for custom orders, the women are now considering forming a weaving collective – a change we heartily support.

Expertly handwoven from premium wool yarn on sturdy cotton warps, this rug is finished with charming fringes on one end and both sides.

** All our rugs are unique and personally selected. They reflect the imprint of the Amazigh weaving tradition, the individual creativity of their weavers, and the subtle imperfections of hand weaving. We believe these qualities are what give them their character and charm. The sizes mentioned above do not include fringes.
